Reimagining the road to student success

The students I work with are often overwhelmed, frustrated and wondering why things that seem to come easily for others feel so difficult for them. Over time, some begin to believe they're the problem.
They're not.
They are often struggling with the demands of growing independence and navigating school without having been taught the skills and strategies they need to manage their time, organize their work, prioritize, get started, and follow through.
I help students figure out what works for them. I provide support, guidance, and together we build practical systems for organization, time management, prioritizing, and getting things done—while also building the confidence to use those skills independently.
I work with students, and I keep parents in the loop, so the whole family feels the shift: so you can move forward with less reminding, less friction in the family and a more independent student.
Neurodiverse learners
Many of the students I coach are neurodivergent, including students with ADHD and students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Executive function coaching supports the challenges neurodiverse learners face.
My approach focuses on meetings students where they are and building a system that fits them.
Passionate about inspiring others
Teaching students for 28+ years at colleges in the UK and Canada, I've spent most of my life working side by side with young adults, teaching and academic advising.
I teach carpentry, welding, rigging, stagecraft and production practices in Technical Production for Theatre & Live Events. I am the Field Placement Coordinator for final year students entering the industry.
